About
We got tired of sync tools eating our events, so we built one that doesn't.
You know the feeling. You check your calendar the morning of a meeting and it isn't there. Not moved, not conflicted — just gone. Nothing warned you. The sync ran, the logs were clean, and somewhere in the middle an event quietly disappeared. You find out when someone asks why you didn't show up.
The tools that do this aren't bad software. They're software that does too many things. Sync is one feature among dozens — there are dashboards to polish, integrations to add, AI summaries to ship. The unglamorous failure modes that matter to people who run their lives from a calendar never get the attention they need, because they aren't on the roadmap.
So we made a different decision. We do one thing: keep your calendars in sync. That's the whole product. Every engineering hour we have goes into making that one thing work correctly, in the cases that are easy and in the cases that aren't.
The people who use twocal live and die by their calendar. A missing event isn't a bug report — it's a missed flight, a no-show at a client dinner, a daughter's soccer practice that wasn't there when you looked. So the promise is simple: if it's on one calendar, it's on the other. No exceptions. No "it usually works." No checking twice to make sure.
We're not building a platform. We're not adding features. We're just making sure your calendars match.
